Special student developer/operator Generation Estates has obtained planning consent at Ewer Street in the Bankside area of Southwark following an appeal against non determination by the local planning authority.
The scheme on a site acquired earlier this year from Workspace Group by The Carlyle/Generation student accommodation joint venture will now be taken forward to provide 150 studio units. The projects complements the recent Citizen M hotel scheme on Southwark Street and will help complete the renewal of this well located pocket close to Tate Modern.
